Hello, hooman. I’m back with another makeup review. This time, I will be reviewing a liquid foundation by Maybelline FIT Me foundation line. I understand that Maybelline FIT ME Poreless Liquid foundation is available at drugstores in Singapore. However, the dewy version is not available in
Singapore just yet. I hope that my humble review will be able to give you a heads up on this product. 🙂 Also, I am interested to give my very first attempt to Maybelline dewy liquid foundation is because of the high rating of the poreless liquid foundation
I bought Maybelline FIT me dewy Liquid Foundation at The Chemist Warehouse in Fremantle, Perth. It is priced at AUD $16.90 which is about SGD17.50 as per converted using google. Maybelline FIT me Poreless liquid foundation is priced at SGD19.90 (and if they were to release the dewy version it will be more or less the same price range as this? ), so now you know what kind of product is worth buying in Australia and not in Singapore 😉 *ChaChing*

Firstly, let’s talk about the packaging. The packaging itself comes does not come with a pump or a tube format where users can control the amount of product used each time. That being said, it can be challenging to control how much liquid is being poured as the texture of the foundation is very liquid like foundation, and how much would have gone to a waste. However, given that it is a drugstore liquid foundation, this is quite a generic foundation package that is not foreign to most of the cosmetic junkies out there.
Secondly, this liquid foundation offers medium coverage, and the coverage is buildable to about high coverage. I applied with my trusty beauty blender and it blends easily into my skin without leaving my skin with patches.
Thirdly, as the name of this liquid foundation, dewy, suggests that the end result would leave your skin looking glowy and all. Yes, from what I’ve noticed, it has a semi glowy finish on my skin. If you don’t mind having that as the finished result of your foundation routine, then you can consider trying this 🙂 I love the slight hint of glow to give some radiance to my skin.
Fourthly, it is has a slight pleasant scent to it.
Lastly, the longevity of the liquid foundation is rather average. I do notice the redness starts to peek through around my nose after about 2-3 hours outdoor. However, I do not actually mind per se that happened? After all, I am paying Aud$16.90 for a liquid foundation that performs relatively well in areas like coverage though it is weaker on longevity. If your skin type is more of the oily, I would suggest that you bring a packet of blotting sheet with you throughout the day.
Other than that, I am generally satisfied with this liquid foundation 🙂
I hope this post is helpful.
